Uniform Information for 2024 Season

SWIMWEAR

DSLSC have purchased a heat press to allow us to add our logo to swimwear this season and provide us with further branding options in the future.  In the past we have found that trying to provide swimwear for everyone and keep stock available becomes costly for all of us.  To try and decrease costs for everyone, as a small club we believe the option of BYO (Bring Your Own) swimwear to be branded at a much smaller cost than purchasing uniforms is the best option for the future.

 ***Old TOGZ Swimwear Stock*** We still have some limited styles and sizes available to purchase at low cost if anyone is interested.

We hope you all support us with this change and if you wish to wear Club branded swimwear, please read the following details on how this will be managed this season;

Step 1 - Members will provide us with either black or dark navy swimwear to be branded with a DSLSC Logo(s) of your choice.

Step 2 – Choose your transfer(s).

We currently have 2 x transfer options, as follows;

  • Chest Left Side or Middle of Chest – i.e. On all women’s/girl’s bathers or bikini tops, or sport singlets. Also, could be used on leg of sports shorts.

  • Across Bottom/Rear – i.e. On all men’s, women’s and kid’s briefs/jammers/bather bottoms.

Step 3 - Contact Volunteer Uniform Coordinator – Trish Bayard, to arrange a time for heat pressing your swimwear, either via email  . darwinslsc@darwinsurfclub.com.au or messaging/phoning her on 0419 033 862.

Time for heat pressing will be allocated during Nipper Beach Training Sessions this season between the hours of 8.30 to 10am.

Step 4 – Make Payment with Volunteer Uniform Coordinator & provide swimwear for heat pressing.

Cost to all members, per transfer will be $5 (inclusive of GST and pressing)

Step 5 - Care for your swimwear once the transfer has been heat pressed.

CLUB & NIPPER SURF CAPS

Nippers are required to wear a coloured cap when on the beach and in the water that matches their Nipper Age Group to assist with our Age Managers & Surf Lifesavers keeping them safe. Cap colours move through age groups each year, so once a colour is purchased the same cap will be used each year to identify your Nippers Age Group.  This means there will be no need to purchase a different coloured cap each year until your child reaches the under 13 age group when they are required to wear our green and gold Club cap.

Club caps are required for Nippers in the “Under 13” and above age groups and for most competitions (Juniors and Seniors).

All surf caps can be purchased at the Club/beach just prior to the scheduled beach sessions on Sundays from 8.00am for $15.  Outside of these times please get in touch with the Volunteer Uniform Coordinator.

RASHIES

We will be receiving a new batch of Rashies in Nipper Sizes (Long Sleeve option only) early in the season and these will cost $55 each.

If you would like to put your name on the waitlist for the new order of Rashies coming in, or if there are adults that we cannot accommodate with the current stock of Rashies we have, please send an email to <darwinslsc@darwinsurfclub.com.au> or call/message Trish on 0419 033 862.  Please detail name, sizing requirements (based on a current rashie that fits – any brand), number of rashies and best contact details.
